I have a 14 year old daughter, Xanthe, who is awesome!<\/p>\n

….BUT…I do feel that she’s reaching that age when it’s so natural for her to want to pull away from us<\/strong>, her parents. As much as it tears our hearts apart, it’s a part of life.<\/p>\n

But do we have to just accept that we have to miss our teen girls until they finally become adults? Can’t we keep that special bond we had when she was just our little girl?<\/p>\n
